Description
The MVCN Peer Mentor Support Program provides opportunities for caregivers to become trained peer mentors who can provide one-on-one peer support to another caregiver. Our Peer Mentors walk alongside their mentees to provide support, knowledge, and foster hope and empowerment. MVCN Peer Mentors positively model the “lived experience” of caregiving, and the compassionate companioning along their caregiving journeys.
This training is hosted through the Zoom meeting platform and allows us to have live video interaction, including role play exercises and interactive discussions.
If you would like to join our team of trained volunteer peer mentors, we encourage you to register. Upon registration you will receive an email with additional information.
For additional information, please email melissa.johnson3@redcross.org.
